eats report

Every now and then during recovery, I’ve done reports on what I’ve been eating, what progress I’ve made, and what I’ve found helpful. Sometimes I get it really wrong, but other times I’ve managed some big steps. I figured I’d put all my food related posts in one easy page so that any one who’s interested in one example of what eating in recovery can look like, it’d be relatively easy to find. It’s not perfect and really, it only relates to me and my tastes, but these are the foods I felt were important to conquer, and also the foods I found easiest to encorporate in order to reach my targets for recovery. I know that reading other people eats really helped motivate me to increase my intake and variety for sure. If you’re interested, have a look. Plus actually, it’s good for me too. Looking over these in chronological order really highlights how far I’ve come and the steps I’ve taken. Still got more work to do though.

A particularly tasty example of my recovery eating. I was quite behind on my intake that day. I think this snack was granola, honey and fig with soy milk, weetabix and berries with milk, two slices of toast with peanut butter and half a bar of some serious Green&Blacks goodness. Yum :)
